Love is spending twenty four hours in a fight,
Then cuddling under blankets and “I’m sorry”s the next night.
Love is paying bills with the profession,
Then coming home to give affection.
Love is spending time,
While unaware if this is your last dime.
Love is paying attention,
Even during a recession.
Love is losing sight,
Then finding yourself in their eyes.
Love is paying the concessions,
Because they are always worth the standby.
Love is holding on till the last possible moment
And knowing when to say “It’s broken.”
